The Sun Is Blowing Ice

The sun is blowing ice at us. That's really what it felt like this week. We forgot that when it gets really warm it snows the next day. teehee But we survived, although this time around I did grumble a little bit, but just during the really big storm on Saturday. I'm doing better today.

We kept ourselves happy this week by planning this p-day. After we're done emailing, we're going to the Mall! Which somehow we just hadn't made it there yet. We're gonna have some treats at the food court and wander the stores. We heard that Build a Bear has missionary outfits in Utah, so we wanted to see what they were like, how cute they are etc. Just fun stuff like that. It's interesting too, how much cleaning gives me a sense of peace and purpose as well. Like I really look forward to being able to clean the bathroom on Tuesdays and change my sheets and all those fun things. :)

I'm glad to hear things are going well back home. I miss you all a lot! But I'm hanging in there. :)
Thank you thank you thank you for your card it really brightened my day yesterday. I wasn't even thinking yesterday about how it was the 25th and that it meant 10 months. How amazing the time really is flying by.

I love you love you love you!

Warmer Weather

Lovely lovely looking day. :)
I was spoiled by so many pictures this week!
Your picture letter just came in the mail before we got here. :)

Its soo warm outside. Its so nice!

Last night  Sister Rogerson played this awesome CD she had call "The Garden" by Micheal Mclain(not sure if the spelling is right) Anyway its a creative little musical about the atonement that's really sweet and pretty. I really enjoyed the song about the seed that can't grow. Its so sweet and we all know that feeling at times in our lives. :)

Also a sweet lady last week told us about a book called "My Grandfathers Blessings", and it sounded like something you'd be interested in reading or maybe you have read? Either way she told us how its short simple chapters that you can read as you go and it just made me think of you. I hope you can find it and enjoy it. :)

I love you, love you, love you
Have a beautiful week!!

You Ready?

*drumroll*

Sister Rogerson and I will be staying together in Murray at the same address! Yay! But it will only be a 5 week transfer instead of a 6 week. Crazy eh?

Well thank you so so much for the Valentines day package! It was just the excitement we needed on a cold Friday!
I love love loved your hug! And Sister Rogerson is very grateful as well to your love! :)

Its been snowing again, so we excitedly shoveled some more driveways and gained a following of 2 Beehive age girls who had been playing in the snow. With our combined efforts we were able to shovel SEVEN driveways in a little over an hour! So much fun! And we hope it softened a few hearts as well. :)

You like the pictures?
The beautiful quilts are gifts from Relief Societies in the area. Isn't the orange one beautiful? They had a big stack to chose from and you know I saw nothing else but that beautiful orange! Then later that day I was given another quilt. So now I'm super toasty. And very grateful! :)

Today we are fasting for a man we are teaching. We're hoping and praying he gains his answer and accepts the church into his life, because we know how much it can help him. Keep him in your prayers as well. :)

It was amazing to see the programs. I was going through a hard time this week. Like you had said in your letter of just knowing I don't have the energy to do this the way I want to. So I just wanted to be home and sleep! But reading the things I've written home and hearing from so many how they love it and it's helped them, has yet again made it more real that whether it's the amount you want it to be or not it's still something and it still affects others no matter what.

I love love love you!!
Thank you always for all your love and support it means so much to me!

Let your hearts rejoice

I'm so glad to hear that Gram is gaining so much strength back. And happy for her to have some 'me' time again. :) And for you as well. It is so needed.  It's funny how for me just being able to clean the bathroom and do my laundry was the refresh of me-time I've needed this week. And we still get to do more! Like email, and do some dollar store, walmart, and costco shopping, and take naps! heheh

Sara's baptism went very well. She was so nervous before, and we were nervous the days leading up to it trying to get all the details together so quickly, but it all worked about beautifully. Since we didn't really teach her it took Sister Rogerson and I some time to ponder on what we did to help her in this process, but we've been continuing to realize that just working hard and being faithful missionaries ready to jump up and serve her when she called us that morning, we were doing exactly what we were suppose to and being the best missionaries we can at this time. Which is all we've been asked to do. We love her so much and are so grateful to be able to help her at this time. :)

That pirate ship looks like so much fun! I love it! And Anna is such a little cutie! I'm glad to hear things are going well back home. I love you sooo sooo much!
Warmer weather here this week too. So nice!!
love love love!
